Jack Daniel’s Small Batch Rye is a 2026 Special Release composed of five high-proof batches of Tennessee Rye Whiskey sourced from the Coy Hill, Boiler Hill, and Fire Brigade Fields barrelhouses. The release is made from the distillery’s rye mash bill of 70% rye, 18% corn, and 12% malted barley and undergoes charcoal mellowing before maturation in new oak barrels. The barrels were filled between February 2016 and August 2017 and aged an average of 10 years. Bottled at barrel proof, the batches range from 142.7 to 146.1 proof (71.
