Jack Daniel's Tennessee Straight Rye

Light sweet smell. Sweet and spicy but not refined. Little oaky peanut butter but just doesn’t sit right with the aftertaste.

Blind taste test - bought 50 mL bottles at Total Wine in Grand Rapids with Kyle. Darker amber color, smell is a blast of rye spice. Hard to discern other aromas besides the rye, but butter comes through. Taste is fantastic and very deceiving - buttery and butterscotch flavor with a hint of nutty caramel with not much of the rye/peppery bite except at the finish. Upon reveal, a hint of smoky flavor is noticeable. 70% rye 18% corn 12% barley
