James E. Pepper Decanter Barrel Proof Straight Bourbon Whiskey
This release is presented in a decanter and is a recreation of a bottle produced at the historic distillery in the 1940s. It is distilled, aged and bottled at the James E. Pepper Distillery in Lexington, Kentucky.
It's aged in new, toasted and charred Kentucky oak barrels which were air-seasoned for 18-24 months. Average age of the whiskeys is over 5 years and each batch is bottled at barrel proof. Expect flavor differences and ABV variations to occur from batch to batch.
