Jameson Black Barrel

Sweet and flavorful. Could be fooled into thinking it was a lighter bourbon. Light smokiness in the finish. Easy to drink.

A great whiskey. I would never have guessed that Jameson could make a whiskey smooth an tasty. Very impressed.

Nose: pleasant blackberry jam and some musk. Excellent nose at this price point Palate: warm honey which gives way to a slight caramel/oak flavor and a medium finish Overall, this is a great whiskey at this price point. Great combination of Irish whiskey and bourbon. Significantly better than baseline Jameson- would be a daily drinker if it was slightly cheaper.
