Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition

Drank it at Morocco. Even though it had a special kind of taste, it did not really move me. Rather indifferent and boring.

Overall light, with sweet caramel, ginger, beer, and a little bit smokey notes

Nose: lemon zest, apples, buttered toast. Taste: apples with a slight medicinal breaded note. Not bad, but not great, if you love Jameson than this is that but slightly hoppy.

Unlike the Stout option, the IPA does not improve upon regular Jameson for me. I like regular Jameson so I was not disappointed by this but it’s not something I would purchase a fifth of. Definitely can tell it’s association with IPA given the bitter citrus on the palate.
