Penelope Rosé Cask Finish is made with the brand's signature four grain bourbon (74% corn, 16% wheat, 7% rye, 3% malted barley). After it's initial maturation, the bourbon is then finished in hand selected Grenache rosé wine casks sourced from the Southern Rhône region in France.
The first batch was released in 2020 under the brand's limited edition Cooper Series with Batch 8 available beginning June 2024. (SRP $49.

Tasting Notes
"In addition to vanilla and toasted grains, there's a gentle berry and citrus peel aroma. Moving on to the palate, it's soft in the mouth with a toasted bread flavor and oak. It's a bit slick on the palate and oak flavors are moderate. It's gently sweet and tangy. The rosé wine barrel influence seems to add a touch of acidity/tanginess to the finish. A nice bourbon for warm weather drinking."
