Jefferson's Ocean Aged at Sea Voyage 19 Special Wheated Mash Bill

I’m partial to a wheated bourbons. I enjoy the spicy sweet notes... chocolate, honey, cherries... all those things. Not sure the ocean has anything to do with it, but at least I don’t drink rum like a simp.

For the price, it's overrated. It's smooth, velvety, and a tad syrupy for mouthfeel. Salted caramel and vanilla on the palate. Subtle nose of oak, honey, and caramel. Complexion looks as it should be a fuller, bolder pour but is lighter without much of a finish.

Light caramel color. Spicy start long finish

Reminds me of a stronger Basil Hayden. Nice tones and smooth
