Jefferson's Ocean Aged at Sea Voyage 22 Special Wheated Mash Bill

Vanilla, mild oak finish

Vanilla, caramel, butterscotch

I’ve tried this three times after letting it open up over a week then a month then a few more weeks. Initially it smells pleasing, like oranges and a bit of vanilla with little or no oak. Initial taste is sweet but is followed by overpowering orange flavor then it just becomes heat and burn with a hint of oak and more burn at the end. As much as I want to like it, I just can’t get on board with this voyage.
