Jefferson's Ocean Aged at Sea Voyage 22 Special Wheated Mash Bill

Huge disappointment. Not very good. Thin and boozy w almost no complex flavors. Straight booze.

Love the Wheated mash bill, very similar to a Weller SR. Need to pick up a second bottle before they run out.

Cinnamon

Smooth, a bit oily, rich, with a bit alcohol heat but mellows out in a buttery finish. Slight floral and spice upfront with some salt throughout and the wheat gives it more of the grainy full bodied flavor. Great whiskey but very dangerous!

Smooth, spicy, speyside brine that boends bourbon with single malt scotch. Complex and leaves you wanting another dram right away.

I’ve seen this family on the shelves and have heard tons about this product for a few years - and finally I decided to try it! Some of the online reviews made me think I’d be wasting money on this purchase, but I am fairly pleased. I can’t put my finger on it, but there’s something different about this whiskey. It’s almost a buttery, salted caramelized flavor. There is a little bite, but it’s gentle and purposeful. Very pleased overall! I foresee myself purchasing tastes of future voyages!

A special Ohio Liquor Control barrel selection. Very smooth and is a wheated mashbill. If you are a fan of Buffalo Trace/Weller’s mashbill I found this very similar. Good stuff.
