Jefferson's Ocean Aged at Sea Voyage 28

Not sure about the Voyage number, but whatever batch I was served was delicious. Super smooth and sippable. I need to grab a bottle of this in the near future.

Received with Flaviar membership. Just starting out enjoying bourbon so a bit of a novice but wow. This was great. Easy to sip. Great on the tongue and lips. Buttery, caramel, yum.

Get it if you can 🙂

Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes. Color: Medium amber. Nose: Carmel, vanilla, some dark fruit. Palate: Medium mouthfeel, some clove and baking spice. Finish: Medium length, medium heat. Splash: Some oak appears that I must have missed before. Overall: 7/10 - This is an above average pour, but I can't justify the premium price (around $85). There are many better options under $50. This was received as a gift.

Nose: Hints of vanilla, brine Palate: Vanilla notes, cream, slight burn Finish: Not noticeably different from the nose Whiskey novice here, so just giving an honest assessment of what I can taste/smell, although it is rudimentary.

Super light, buttery, and a nice honey sweetness. Not super complex, and a super quick finish. But the flavor is good and light
