Jefferson's Reserve Very Old Bourbon

Purchased 3/08/18 (Raleigh NC, $59) Batch #318 / Bottle #11568 Opened 4/25/18 First try with a piece of ice not throughly impressed. But second try neat with a drop of water is where this bourbon really shines. Has an amazing nose, medium bodied and a short finish.

Preferred neat before opening with a drop of water. Very caramel forward before opening. A drop of water brings out a lot more of the rye.
