Tasting Notes
"The aroma of the sakura cask gives a warming, toasted aroma. Not quite nutty, but toasted. There's a light berry note here as well. The flavors here are subtle and balanced. Light orange peel notes and floral honey work with the rich malt whisky on the mid-palate. Gentle floral and barrel spices finish the dram. Overall, it's a lighter style whisky to enjoy on warm nights. Would even serve it with a light dinner, but would suggest not using in a mixed drink as the subtle notes would get lost. "
