Jefferson's Reserve Very Old Bourbon

Nose - Sweet brown sugar simple, vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, faint hint of cherry cough drops. Taste - Faint cherry scented vanilla caramels, vanilla brown simple, light cinnamon spice, hints of nutmeg and cloves, sweet lightly bitter oak. Finish - Lingering cinnamon spice, cherry-ish brown simple sweetness that sadly transitions into a splenda-like sweet. Score - 86/100 Final Thoughts - So this is a very tasty bourbon that I can see myself enjoying neat, but I don't think it could be my last dram of the night as the finish falls a bit flat with the odd splenda-like sweetness at the end. Decent nose, not too complex but I think it might open up with some more time.
