Jim Beam with a twist. More wood notes on the nose and palate. Still sharp like the normal Jim Beam, but the wood helps smooths out some of the harshness. Not the most complex whiskey I’ve had, but something worth getting that’s cheap and not too thought-provoking.
I originally gave this 4 stars. However, after reviewing (as well as developing my pallet) I have to lower it. I still like it as a cheaper "go to." But it does not compare to others that are close in price with a smoother, more developed flavor.
