Wigle utilizes a mash bill of winter wheat and malted barley, along with Wapsie Valley corn, which is said to offer superior fermenting and more flavor, albeit with a lower alcohol yield during distillation due to its high protein content.

Tasting Notes
"Find a big dose of that Wapsie Valley corn on the nose. There's also a rich, sweet side replete with vanilla and caramel, and oak. The palate bursts open with spicier, drier notes, and plenty of smoke, paired with a rich dark brown sugar. There's more smoke on the finish and here it's reminiscent of a mesquite BBQ or jerky flavor, as well as final notes of chocolate. Add in an ice cube to accentuate an oaky, caramel strain that remains from start to finish."
