This an excellent, sophisticated bourbon. Mild enough to be approachable by novice drinkers, while offering plenty of complexity for the seasoned bourbon fan. It's overlooked by bourbon enthusiats because of the Jim Beam name. Entry: Sweet, vanilla, marshmallow. Mid-palate: More vanilla, mild hint of leather, rye spice and fruitiness. Deep layers of flavor. Finish: Mild barrel char, more fruit, more hints of marshmallow.
