John Walker & Sons Celebratory Blend

I bought three bottles of JWCB based on the reviews. Then, after enjoying less than an ounce, went out and bought three more. I like single malts with smoke. But there is something about an exceptional blended scotch that thrills me to the core. This JWCB is definitely one of those. Although there is no age statement, you know you are drinking whiskies of age. It's smooth and fruity with a little smoke on the finish. It is a delight. I plan on putting away another 12 bottles.

Totally unexpected this one but this is my Whisky of the year 2020. This has great complexity with an accurate interpretation of the old highland style. figs, cinnamon, gingerbread, birds custard, BandJ cookie dough ice cream, wiff of a german Christmas market. Becomes very creamy with a drop of water. Forget the snobbery with the JW brand and being a blend, this stuff is the mutts nuts. Very full on, not for noobs.
