John Walker & Sons King George V
On 1st January 1934, John Walker & Sons was awarded a Royal Warrant by King George V to supply Scotch whisky to the Royal Household. This bottling commemorates that occasion. The blended Scotch whisky is made using distilleries which were operating during the 25 year reign of King George V from 1910-1936.
Some of these distilleries are now closed including Port Ellen. The whiskies are blended to reflect the Johnnie Walker style from that time. .
