Johnnie Walker Green Label 15 Year

First tasting of the evening. Full bottle. A lot of perfume, bitterness of old black pepper and alcohol. Alcohol aftertaste and deep alcohol burning in the mouth. The nose burns and tickles.

So much better than I expected; it’s smooth as silk and oh-so easy to drink, but there are subtle mid-sip textures and a long chocolate-vanilla aftertaste that you’d expect from a quality single malt. It’s more complex & interesting than other blends & certainly a huge step up from Black Label. This is almost the perfect mid-week sipper.
