At room temperature: light caramel fragrant smell and a hint of wood. Spicy taste and dry wood bittersweet. Finish with dry mouth and some sweetness.
After Chill: Still got the caramel smell but the woody smell is not pronounce. It taste more spicy and burning like icy fire. More sweetness after taste. It’s interesting.
Overall, It’s as good as just a cool bottle. May be good for mix cocktails.
Nose - Grain with raisins vanilla toffee, but I detect the alcohol.
Palate - very sweet, vanilla and brown sugar, slight hint of peat. As it warms there is a spice burn.
Finish - short.
I get the gimmick and the bottle is really cool, it’s a sipping blend for the to those who normally don't drink whisky neat, or maybe at all.
