Spices. Cinnamon and oak. Does have a unique but odd flavor.

Bitter fruit. Oak and smoke.

The tasting description for this JD is the most spot on I have come across yet. Stewed apples? Nailed it. Long finish, yep. Another whiskey that is making me feel dumb about my twist cap bias.

Definitely taste the willet flavor, caramel spice and mild chocolate. I’d give it an 84/100 it’s good for the buck as I paid 30 dollars for it. Knob creek is about the same price and id prefer knob all day long.

Apples and toffee/Carmel. Aroma adds a nice bouquet of flowers. Creamy and spicy finish that lingers a bit but not too long.
