Reviewed August 13, 2020Pleasant butterscotch sweetness. Nikki Minaj levels of thiccness on the mouth feel. Cask strength shouldn't scare you away if you're even a moderately experienced whisky drinker. If the mizunara oak has the effect I think it has, it's different for sure. No brine notes for me, and with the name meaning ocean that's a disappointment, especially if you're looking for an Islay analogue. This and the peated are the only ones worth looking at imo, but for the price many better options imo. -
