Kaiyō Japanese Mizunara Oak

Tried neat. Appearance: Golden Amber. Nose: Distinct Mizunara, hint of smoke Palate: Oily, sticks to the tongue, light nutty flavor; Finish: Very faint finish, goes fast, almond, fruity finish.

Barely drinkable trash that should only be used as a mixer. I expect better from Japanese whisky.

Very warming, nice, smooth. Moderately peaty

Lightly smoky, smooth, easy drinking. Interesting history of the Japanese wood.
