Reviewed December 21, 2022 (edited September 23, 2024)Found another Indian whisky on sale at TW. I have become quite a fan of this country's single malt. This is lesser known here (not sure about there) but still delivers. Nose is apple cider and cream, rich malt, dusty books and the usual lovely Indian spice rack. Full and deep without ethanol interference. Palate is bright and youthful but loaded with flavor. Tangy malt and tropical fruits(maybe kiwi) alongside toasty oak and simmering spices. Its slightly hot but has a crispness to it. Indian malts have a unique finish just as Islay's do. The fruity malt and spice with barrel tannins combine for a nice long fade. I like this better than PJ Ive had and its not too far behind Amrut.......87/10035.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed December 11, 2022The sherry cask really comes through on the nose, with a hint of leather underneath. The pallette is a subtle blend of tea, oak, and spicy heat. The finish is very smooth with hints of oil and spice. -

Reviewed December 9, 2022Day 4 Flaviar Advent- tasted blind- yummy! This reminds me of some Japanese whiskeys with the faint peat and the floral notes. I'm getting tastes of mango, dark chocolate and toffee, and enjoying picking up something a little different in every sip. Doesn't taste incredibly high end but is enjoyable. -
