Keeper's Heart Irish + American Whiskey

I was surprised at how smooth Keeper’s Heart was. It’s also nice in an old fashion.

Loved this! Smooth finish with a nice rounded mouth feel. Each sip evolves as the whiskey opens. New favorite.

Interesting for cocktails but not great on it's own

Nose: Very sweet. I get notes of vanilla, brown sugar, floral, and spice. Palate: Soft and sweet initially, cookie or biscuit type flavor with a baking spice finish. No brown sugar but still some vanilla or caramel mixed in there. Pretty tame up front, but the finish is complex and lingers nicely. A nice light and drinkable whiskey. Very tasty in cocktails.

Everything I want out of a whiskey. very smooth, slightly sweet, very pleasant notes of grain and rye on the back end. Perfect for an old fashioned if you like them on the sweeter side.
