Keo Zivania Marc

This is the first non-Italian pomace spirit that I've tried. My name is Marc although I'm not sure this is what my parents named me after. Hopefully my namesake doesn't disappoint. Nose is typical of any grappa I've had in the past. Strong ethanol and some grape seed. Palate is hot and sweet with some raisin and sour wine notes. The flavour lingers for a bit going down. This is marginally better than some grappas I've had, but not particularly memorable for any reason. I can imagine that it tastes much better if you're polishing off a bottle at the end of a multi-course meal on the coasts of Cyprus.
