Tasting Notes
"This assertive whisky has a nose that starts out all soot and peat smoke, but after a bit of air begins to show complex layers of ocean brine and lemon peel. The palate is on the lighter side, but does not lack for flavor as the smoke is back in full form. More hints of citrus fruit appear joined by a bit of toffee and plum cake. The finish switches back to savory with a long and deep impression of iodine and sea air."
