Reviewed July 28, 2019 (edited September 7, 2019)This a great Islay Scotch. Balanced between smoke, peat, and dark cooked fruit. I truly enjoy nosing, sipping and relaxing with this Scotch. The bit of pepper on the palate was a welcome surprise too and really helped layer the experience. I definitely recommend this bottle. -

Reviewed July 17, 2019 (edited November 7, 2019)I get brown sugar on the nose, plus tangy fruits. The palate is vanilla cake with pieces of dried fruit. The finish is dry with a hint of sweetness. Great balance of bourbon and sherry casks and my pick of the three core Kilchoman bottlings.Caledonia Bar
