Kilchoman Sanaig (2016 Edition)

Rich, smoky, and peaty with underlying fruit and mineral notes. Comes together almost like a tangy BBQ sauce. A bit edgy but full of flavor and complex. Quality stuff.

Good if you don’t want to drink too much.

Mild at first. Water opens it up a bit.

Yet another gem from Islay, up there with the 10YO from Laphroig, Ardbeg, and Talisker.

As expected a very Smokey face. Kilchoman knows how to leave the pallet warm and aromatic. One of the best parts of the whiskey is when you’ve finished your sip.
