Reviewed December 2, 2021The nose is nicely smokey with some fruit in the background. For me, this is a rare instance where the palette fairly well matches the nose, with perhaps just a bit of vanilla. The finish is very smooth, leaving only the smoky notes behind and adding in a bit of spiciness. -

Reviewed November 23, 2021Wood, white pepper, sherry cask, caramel apple, leather, tobacco, peat smoke, raisin, honey and smoked ham nose. On the palate sweet, smoky and peaty, with flavors of caramel, leather, tobacco, berries and flowers. -

Reviewed November 18, 2021Nose: Sweet honey, stewed fruits, cherries, prunes, raisins, cinnamon, and hints of peat smoke. Palate: Stewed fruits, prunes, raisins, malts, oak, and baking spices - cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and cardamom. Leathery, and sweet tobacco. Finish is medium, with sweet vanilla, baking spices - ending with leather, sweet tobacco and hints of oak. Final Thoughts: Good dram. Complex with good viscosity and well balance. -
