Kininvie is a Speyside distillery that opened in 1990, making it one of the youngest operating distilleries in Scotland. Owned by William Grant & Sons, its product is used mainly for blends, with an occasional single malt release such as this one. Kininvie 23 Year was initially launched for the Taiwanese market in 2013, before its expanded release to other international markets. It was distilled in 1990 and spent 23 years slowly maturing in a combination of both ex-bourbon American oak and ex-sherry oak casks. It's presented in 350ml sized bottles at 42.6% ABV.
