Kirkland Bottled-in-Bond Kentucky Bourbon by Barton 1792

Not a huge 1792 fan. Ive got small batch and full proof; this beats both. Some caramel and wood smoke, a touch of butterscotch. It tends to be a bit high acetone flavor but a solid pour.

Spicy front gives way to a smooth and sweet vanilla finish. Spice lingers a bit but in a good way. This is a much better bourbon than the small batch; the proof is just about right for me too. For mixing it’s a good in-between because of its spicier profile. Solid, solid all-rounder.

Citrus throughout. Met with high amounts of spice. Nice balance. Very solid especially for the price. Nothing terribly wrong, and assuming it would score higher if it was a blind test

Another mixer candidate - tough on the finish if you savor it, but not terrible.
