Kirkland XO Cognac

As a Wisconsin native, I thoroughly enjoy my brandies. This one was a bit of an enigma, quite different from any others that I’ve tried. It’s much spicier than the Hennessy VSOP (current favorite cognac/brandy). Less fruity as well. The whiskey drinker in me enjoys that fact, but it is not at the top of my list for brandies. I am happy I tied it, but I feel there are better ones out there for the price.
