Knappogue Castle Distillery (pronounced nah-POGUE) was founded by Mark Edwin Andrews and named after the Irish castle he and his wife bought and renovated together. In the 1960's Andrews would buy casks of pot still whiskey from top distillers, to age and bottle them under his own label. This single-malt, vintage-dated whiskey was distilled in 1990.
