Knickerbocker Gin is produced by New Holland Brewing, a craft brewery and distillery based in Holland, Michigan. The brewery originally opened in 1996 and began distilling spirits in 2002. In honor of the heritage of the Dutch founders and settlers in Holland, Michigan, the distillery named their gin "Knickerbocker" - the name originally given to Dutch settlers in the US.
This gin is made with a twice-distilled neutral grain spirit. 12 botanicals - juniper berry, coriander, angelica root, orange zest, lemon zest, cinnamon, ginger root, orris root, cardamon, fennel, clove and nutmeg - are then infused the spirit. It is then filtered three times before being bottled at 42.
