Did a tasting with KC12, 15 and 18. Actually very similar profiles for the three. Obviously the 18 had more oak finish, but not overpowering like the EC18. The 12 is a little sweeter with less oak, so just depends on your preference.

Brand new bottle, not yet opened. Was rushed drinking this too so I want to try again before doing more notes and official grade. But this was very enjoyable. Oily, rich, vanilla, sweet oak, classic Knob Creek.
On the nose I get vanilla and spice. Tasting wise vanilla and some spice. I get peanut too but more weak. Not like strong peanut like larceny bp. It feels thin. I feel if it was a little higher proof it wouldn’t feel as thin. It does have a nice finish with a good warm hug for only 100 proof. Can’t beat the price for a 12 year.
