Knob Creek 12 Year Small Batch Bourbon

Outstanding stuff. Oaky, bold, with perfect spice and deep wood notes. Heat is perfect and proof works well here. Sweet brown sugar and honey.

Good flavor, no initial burn but it came on late.

It has been some time since I had this. For the first time I got cherry cough syrup in my first sip; never had this before! I usually get peanut butter, which is what I got in my second sip. Maybe Freska on my palate influenced that first taste?
