Knob Creek 12 Year Small Batch Bourbon

Nose: incredibly rich on the nose. Very soft and lots of vanilla. Lots of dark fruit too. A lot sweeter than most knob creeks I’ve tried Palate: dang good man. Little bit of spice coming through. A tonnnn of peanuts in the middle. Overall, just quality Finish: the berries come through right here. All sweet with the finish. Overall: I now understand what people have been saying about this bottle. It’s like a good 15 year store pick basically. And wayyyy better than the 15 year small batch release. I need to find a bottle

Nose: Room clearing sweet oaky corn Palate: Whoa. BIG Bourbon flavor, hot but not overwhelming. Take it slow though. Finish: Long, slow fade with caramel oak This is trouble.

Sour

The nose is lemon zest with cinnamon spice and honey. The palate goes straight to honey and a little spice. The finish keeps getting better each sip

oak, slight peanuts, overall dark flavors. for me, it’s missing a warmth on the palate. it’s tasting just a touch astringent. with astringent note, it just misses a solid 4.
