Dry oak, baking spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, some caramel, orange and red cherry on the nose.
Cereal grain and oak lead off on the palate, then a rush of sweet caramel and vanilla shortbread sweeps the dry oak to the side. Black pepper and mint lead on the finish that ends pretty dry with more oak.
Somewhat light in terms of body and weight. It's not light, but certainly not oily or heavy on the tongue. Finish is moderate in length and complexity.
A bit too heavy on the oak and lacks a strong finish. It is a perfectly good sipper, but it lacks a few things needed for it to be next level
