Spicy vanilla

A pretty good bourbon all round, pretty oaky, balanced sweetness, quite smooth for 50%.

Very strong rich and vanilla notes. In the end, it got a little medicinally. The expert notes said there was a bit of char in the finish, and that might be what I was picking up with the medicinal finish. The finish wasn’t my personal favorite, but I think this is still a great bottle.

Not much on the nose from afar. Up close spicy nose and fruit. Spice on the palate with notes of baked sweetness. Short finish.
