Nose: Rich vanilla, Oak, hint of cherry maybe?
Taste: The first note I got was sweetness, followed by a richer, full bodied vanilla. Some nice nuttiness and spice as well. Definitely a hint of some fruit, again I want to say cherries. After the first few sips the leather comes out a little bit more to me. As does some oakiness.
Finish: Finish is a near burnt caramel flavor. Nuttiness, and a very pleasing full bodied spice flavor, with just a hint of the initial sweetness. A noticable but not overpowering amount of ethanol lingers almost as long as the spice.

Summary: One of my favorite go-to bottles seemed like a good place to start my reviews. I really Knob Creek and find it to be a bottle I always try to have on hand. It's also the whiskey I'm able to most reliably find when I'm out on the town. The sweetness and rich flavor shine through in this bourbon, even with a mild ethanol burn.
