Knob Creek Small Batch Bourbon (NAS)

Smells smoky. Very astringent. Burns. Hard to taste flavors without a bit of water. Add a few drops of water to subdue the potency and you will taste more oak, vanilla, and straw. I drink this when smoking my pipe as it stands up to the tobacco.

One of my favorite mid-range bourbons, it's delicious. The taste I get is vanilla ice cream with maple syrup and lots of cinnamon, which leads to a dry and dusty finish. The first 100 proof bourbon I've ever tasted, and it clearly shows how more proof can add more flavor to a whiskey.

Pretty good. Strooong but not harsh
