Knob Creek Smoked Maple

I prefer to drink this over a rock rather than making a cocktail. That being said, it’s a total sugar bomb. It’s a little stronger than Coopers Mark Maple but it still goes down like candy.

It’s basically drinking sugar whiskey; not the best smoked maple I’ve had.

It's funny, I liked this briefly with a small sample bottle. Got a 750ml bottle and couldnt finish it; it was too heavy, too syrup-like. Flavor, imo, doesn't work as a bourbon (or any other type of whiskey for that matter). Tasted almost like a maple flavored cough medicine after (1) 4oz glass, so perhaps for some it would be fine with 1 smaller 2oz glass and no more

Heavy maple syrup. Very sweet and 1 small pour was plenty. Save for after dinner with a group or mix with rum Chata. Not rating because it’s not in the same category as others.
