Tasting Notes
"First impression on the nose is like opening a bag of fresh whole grain bread. Then comes brown sugar, cloves, anise, and a touch of dill. The palate is dry upfront, with par-baked dough, followed by rich vanilla, black pepper, agave syrup, and a lingonberry tartness. A powerful finish offers a two-man game of astringent oak and vanilla. Add a splash of water, and the sweetness and spiciness are upped in tandem, delivering a bold profile. (Review from Barrel #16-104)"
