Not to be confused with the flagship rum in The Kraken line that is bottled at 94 proof, this lower ABV bottling comes in at 70 proof, or 35% ABV. It is distilled in Trinidad Distillers LTD in Trinidad & Tobago using local molasses.
After distillation and aging in oak barrels, the rum is blended with a blend of spices from across the Caribbean. The higher proof version features a white label with a black Kraken, while this version features a black label with a white Kraken.
