This is very bright for being peated. Quite delicious indeed.

Smoky.

Tastes like I’m drinking a bonfire, and I am all for it. One of my top whiskeys overall. Somehow it is incredibly smokey with no burn, which is very difficult to achieve. I am impressed and satisfied.

This is a very crisp taste coupled with a surprising hint of smoke in the aftertaste. Lots of flavors in the taste to think through and enjoy. Not a lot up front in the nose. I enjoy the deeper peat of the 16, but this is still better than most good scotches.

Taste: Some vanilla. Campfire smoke. Light bodied. Smooth. Pretty incredible for the cost. Smell: Honey up front. Some caramel and marshmallow. Faint campfire and rubber. Look: Incredibly pale yellow
