A pleasant marriage of peaty smoke and Pedro Ximinez sherry. The Sherry really comes through here, sweet and raisiny, with smoke all around. This is a "barbecue" scotch in the best possible way!
So rich. Still a peat bomb but a great mix of sweet and salty. On the nose, under the smoke, there's caramelised raisins and cakeyness. On the palate, tonnes of saltyness wrapped with caramel. Really long, salty dry finish with underlying sweetness. Very nice.
