Incredible. I feel bad drinking it - I want to save it forever

Deep honey colored. Lighter medium bodied whisky with a silky mouthfeel. Nose: fruity and honey sweetness, sea salt, seaweed, camp smoke, mild peat. Some bright citrus and meatiness are present as well. Incredibly complex and rich. Palate: a little butterscotch, honey, and citrus at the start. Delicate peat smoke and seaweed build in the middle. A little chocolate and tobacco appear as well. The finish is long, warming, and rich, leaving a lingering sweetness and tasty peatiness behind. Some soft smoke billows up throughout the finish adding to the complex richness of this scotch. This is one of my all time favorites.

This is an extremely well balanced pour. It has that wonderful Lagavulin flavor, think balanced peat and smoke. However, it adds a layer of sweetness from the sherry barrel aging that is just sublime. Everything plays so well together that I cannot speak highly enough of this pour.
