Lambay Malt Irish Whiskey is a blended malt whiskey made with both double and triple-distilled Irish single malt whiskeys. The whiskeys are initially aged in ex-bourbon casks and then are placed into French oak cognac casks to finish its maturation.
Included in the blend are Lambay Single Malt casks which were exposed to the sea air on Lambay Island just off the coast of Dublin. It's bottled at 43% ABV without chill-filtration using volcanic water from the island's Trinity Well.
