Laphroaig 10 Year Cask Strength (Batch 12)

Great peat notes, strong smell and opened up nicely

Smoky, oily, tar, burnt rubber, but tasty!

Initial nose of dirt, oil and all the medicinals. The taste of oil and seaweed. A wall of Islay flavor.

Best thing I have tasted. A literal explosion of palate gripping goodness.

Nose: sweet, taste: almost rubber like smoke, finish: dwindling smooth smoke. Real nice

Flavorful and very smoky

Nose: smoke, salt, bla bla bla. Just past all the normal Laphroaig notes comes apples, mint, and light caramel. Taste: the inverse of the nose, starting sweet, fruity and full of cinnamon then quickly turning to ash. I need more time with this one.
